Clive Chandler is a firm favourite with many Library services. He has worked regularly with Birmingham, Solihull, Walsall, Northampton, and Worcestershire. All his shows are based on traditional stories which he re-tells with a captivating wit. Shows are presented in an attractive glove puppet theatre, with sound and simple lighting.

All performances last about 45 minutes and are suitable for children of Primary age.

Following the grain of the classic tale and carving out something special. The story of a boy struggling, through all his difficulties, and finally managing to do the right thing.

The Snow Queen
When Kai is taken by the Snow Queen, it falls to Gerda to rescue him. We share her exciting journey, and discover that the warmth of those who care is stronger than the coldness of those who do not.

Jack and the Beanstalk
Starting from traditional roots and blossoming into something more than a few surprises. Giant problems are overcome and we find that it is sometimes a good idea to have your head in the clouds.

Hansel and Gretel
Despite poor parenting, two clever children work together to get out of danger and send their troubles up in smoke.
